Encouraging Reuse

Being able to develop material once and use it in multiple places reduces development costs and leads to a consistent look and feel for students.
If a course is developed as a leader-led course, the student guide text can be transformed into a script for videos and activities in the self-paced training. Items in the student guide that don't translate well into a conversational script can be turned into supplemental material or job aids.
Scripts can be included in courses for accessibility or turned into closed captioning, if that is appropriate.
Job aids can be included in a knowledge base article to reduce support costs by helping customers follow best practices.
Instructor slides can be modified to become the basis for videos or exercises in a self-paced course.
